bombay

was in bombay for 5 days and it's the most exhausting trip so far in my life.

now i'm back in kl with more than hundreds of big and small bullseye thanks to the mosquites, can't feel my foots right now after walking more than hundred miles. can't really taste anything as i didn't eat any proper food for 5 days. i can't breath properly after my lung sucked in so much of dusts.

oh yea, first time being people sandwich in a train cabin, imagine size of a classroom squeezes in like hundreds of them for 3 hours. it's not only physically hurts, mentally was hit by the poverty too.

anyway, bombay has some really nice landmarks, but i really don't want to return there anymore.

first time in terengganu, was amazed by the number of green flags they have in there, and shocked by looking at the price tag of a beer.

miri

was in miri, sarawak for a week, doing some work with shell ep-asiapac.

miri, the city of oil. it gives me, a feel of home, being east, sunrise at 6am, friendly neighbours, churches, sea views (but you see drilling platforms at far sight) and pretty slow pace of life.

the only different is that there're lota foreigners around, 90% of them are working in oil & gas and the rest are flying here for the mulu cave i think.

well, beers is so cheap here, 3 cans of tiger cost me rm9, oh yea, you bet, i'm getting drunk every night in the city of oil.

parks in kl

today is the start of my long and aimless holiday, has been busy renovating my house in the past 2 weeks, never have the time to plan for this two weeks holiday.

trying to find some places to go so i went to the malaysia's tourism portal. pretty shame, have been staying in kl for so many years, i never realize we has such a numbers of huge parks here.

so i just random pick the kl bird pack and drove there. it's has been awhile kl makes me feel i'm in sabah. it's pretty green. will try to findout more interesting places in kl incoming days.

S'kan collision kills two
06 October, 2007
Sandakan: Two people were killed while another was seriously injured when a lorry and a double-cab vehicle collided at Km 55, Jalan Sandakan-Telupid, on Thursday.

The dead were identified as that of the double-cab driver Siau Wing Kuan, 27, and passenger, Peter Soon, 37, an insurance undertaker.

It was learnt the victims were heading towards Sandakan from Telupid when the mishap occurred near KTS junction at about 3.15pm.

Soon was killed instantly while Siaw, an oil-palm plantation employee, was rushed to the Beluran Hospital where he succumbed to injuries, shortly after the crash.

The driver of the three-tonne lorry, aged 50, who sustained serious injuries is being treated at the district hospital while his colleague, 41, escaped with minor injuries.

Six firemen from here rushed to the scene where they extricated the victim from the wreck. Traffic police from Beluran were at the scene to investigate.
